Is this cheating?

I played a player 1 0 bullet, was obviously winning the game, checkmating him in 3 moves with 18 seconds.

I played my last move, then the game freezes and suddenly I'm clocked and I lose the game. My last move was even written on the note sheet! So I have a screenshot of me making the last move and still losing on time.

Probably not, but ALL discussion of cheating is forbidden in the general forums.  Just join this club and post your question on their forum.  I'm not a mod, just wanted to let you know that your thread will probably be locked.

Oh OK thx, I'm new to the forum and hadn't noticed.

@MOD: can this be replaced to the cheating section?

If I remember correctly, they make you jump through a few hoops before joining the cheating forum.  Nothing major, but I think your application to join has to be approved and it takes a day or two.  So you will probably have to repost after joining the club.  Hope that helps...

Moves shown on the client are not official until the server receieves them. You likely got a short disconnect or had lag that was more than was allowed in the compensation algorithm. Your opponent can't impact your connection, so can't cause you to disconnect.

Maybe you just lost your conection so it appears that you played your last move but you really didnt play that move, I dont think he was cheating

Getting multiple queens isn't against the rules.

Most sets come with two queens per color. You just have to be able to promote a pawn wink.png

it had happened to me a couple of times. It's not the same as losing connection, I lose it sometimes and what happens is that your move resets because of lag. This is like your clock is speed up so it reaches 0 before, and aleways happens after aprox 1 min wating for my opponent to move. I dont know if its indeed cheating, but it is not the same as a momentarily lose of connection.
