Its Bizzare Happening

Got paired with this account '' Vivek Ravinutala(VivekBest)'' in live chess new random rapid game just a while ago.. i was white and my oppnt guy was black.. i didn't even made my first move [i normally open with e4 as white] and the game got resigned for black automatically and i was awarded 11 pts.. what strange happening is this i got pts even before i made the first move of the game totally zero moves played but how is this poss ?! 

any clarity is appreciated please_/\_

maybe they aborted too much so chess.com took the abort option away

maybe they were banned for cheating? But, you have to check their profile to make sure..., or it could just be a bug. Like AMagirlcom said above.

This is correct.

If a member aborts/disconnects/abandons too often as a percentage of recently completed games then they lose the ability to abort and all games that start as rated will be rated.
