I guess we need a more stable platform on Live Chess to play tournaments, don't you think?
Live chess tournaments - what do you think

I think that online tournaments with money prizes would increase the number of cheating...
It's so easy to cheat in a online game; you install a good chess engine and you copy its moves. I like the live tournament idea but I don't like the money fees
Well I would like the idea of "Live Tournys" myself. Keep in mind that they are working very hard to get the server stable in the Live section. I also like the idea of having to wait a certain length of time before you claim the win in a disconnect, but I like chocolate ice cream and dont always get it either.
I dont know how about USA, but there - in Russia there are several sites providing live chess tournaments. Believe me it's much more fun, than there online chess counterpart lasting for several month.
Even further there may be a registration fee, taken by the same billing, that premium account. That can afford a prize for winners in each rating category, that would inevitable increase number of involved players, and attract higher rated players of FM IM and GM titles. That would be much fun i guess. The only obstacle is chess engines, but i guess there must be a way to detect and render them harmless.
So, what do you think?
