New "Play" Platform Settings

Sort:

Live chess is moving to "Play", the new chess.com playing platform (I guess that's what you'd call it). However, it seems that "Play" doesn't actually use the settings that I set for live chess. For instance:

It says chat is disabled, even though my settings don't say that (I manually updated it again, with the same result)

I also have to confirm resignation, which isn't the most annoying thing ever, but again, that's not what I updated my settings to.

Wondering what the reason for this is?

Wait that is happening on app or browser?

In play you need to change the settings under the grear sign thing

Why? I always use play

Play seems a little more interactive and "fun-themed" with the big round buttons and all, but I like live since it's more practical

Live chess worked a lot better than play, but play has a very new and nicer more modern theme

I'm fine with using play as long as this settings issue gets fixed

Confirm Resign is nice because you might accidently hit the resign button.

I think it might just be with your account, I've asked some friends and they have no problems, all the settings stayed the same, as did mine

@destroyer8470 - Thanks for letting me know, could be the case

for me evaluation and lines are off and turning it on doesn't stick..

one really bad thing is that in the 'play' platform the time of each move doesn't display. One should open a pgn where the timestamps aren't handy. Why shouldn't we see it? What's the purpose deleting it?
