It happens all the time. Nothing can really be done about it. All I can tell you is to only play long games with "friends" people that you know won't do that and if someone does it to you add him to your blocked players list.

I agree with the person above. It happens all the time, and there doesn't seem to be a foolproof way to avoid it. Usually I just open a new tab and read some webcomics.

yep, you just have to block them. I imagine they would even tolerate this kind of behavior in tournament play, where you don't have the luxury of opening your 2nd-most-favorite page.

I'm not really sure how this could be fixed, but I experience it all the time in Live Chess. Right now I am playing a game I am guaranteed to win. (A queen and bishop against only pawns, little to no chance of promotion.) Instead of resigning, my opponent is not going to make a move. Now I have to sit and wait 17 minutes for a win on time or suffer a loss. Anyone else have this problem?
