playing for a draw

I just played a blitz match in which, while in a losing position down a knight, I was able to get a draw by repeating my moves (other moves would have put me in an even deeper hole, that I could see while in the match). My opponent did not need to repeat his moves but proceeded to ‘insult’ me calling me ‘gay’ and that I should ‘play with balls’. His idea of me playing with balls would have cost me the game so I’m quite certain that I simply played smart as a draw was my best possible outcome, whereas he played dumb because he could have avoided the draw completely and maintained his advantage and probably won. The system of course identifies his last move as a blunder which confirms my preceding statement. His outdated, lame macho homophobia aside, is this guy one of the biggest dolts on the platform or am I indeed lacking in testicular motivation during my chess playing?
