Rematches

Why do most people refuse rematches? I understand that when I win a game, the other player may not want a rematch as they may not consider themselves of equal skill. But when I loose, shouldn't it be common courtesy to accept one rematch?
I always accept a rematch if it is asked and if I can't, I say so in the chat.

What do you think? Does it not bother you when you ask for one and the other person leaves the chat?

Some people simply start a new game with someone else (some people prefer that way) and your rematch offer is auto-declined.

After a good close tense game I like to let my opponent "cool off" for awhile. He's usually a little more motivated to win the next game. Has nothing to do with fear, but everything to do with how I want to manage my games.

Was that double post intentional or a bug?

look up "rematch" in the search tab, and read through some of the results that you get.

(Lose, not loose.)

This topic has already been discussed to death.

There could be a hundred reasons why your opponent didn't give you a rematch.  After my last game, I had to take a quick shit.  That was more important to me than any rematch.  Laughing
