I really, really like this, though I spent a little bit of time making sure there wasn't a mate in 1... maybe next time? Oh, I also spent awhile looking for a hidden message in there (other then the quote) like "B Fischer" across a diagonal or something. I don't know what Bilbo is talking about, getting "When you see" and noticing the next word is 1 letter you can deduce that it's 'a' and the very next letter (g) and the fact that it's a four letter word you can guess that it's "good" then you should know exactly what the quote is. Then again, I've been doing crypto puzzles since I was 6.

P.S. c6 was a nice touch

took me awhile to realize it was the same puzzle. The mates were a little easy but the mate in 4 was fun to find.
