a funny puzzle
Refering to post #1210:
Uhm your puzzle is infact obviously a M3 instead of the M4 you use as a solution.
Furthermore there are numerous possibilities to mate in three,
1) If you start with Re1+, you mate as well
2) If you did start with Qe5+, (1..kf7) your next move should be either Qf5+ or Qf6+ (forcing 2..ke8)
3) If you did Qf5+ you can finish with Re1#, Qae5#, Qe6#
3) If you did Qf6+ you can only finish with Qe6#

hard puzzle
And now refering to puzzle 1211:
Uhm wtf??? Did you really think your line was the only possible?
1) first of all this puzzle contains way to many lines
2) blacks move appear completely random to me, remember that black normally has a brain too!
1.Kd4 gets answered by 1..nf5
1.Kc3 gets answered by 1..nd5 (both Queen-King forks)
1.Kc4 is of course plain illegal
So I guess starting moves can be 1.Kd4 (though that looks risky and gives black control), 1.Kd2 or 1.Kc2. And between those last two moves I wouldn't have a clue what the better move is.

Thank you for your puzzles ... They are interesting! But I promise you more interested in a few days, I have many parts, and may soon end in premeiers several tournaments, I hope ... So I will return. Thank you
very tactical and decently hard....derived from a game i played
enjoy
why 1. Ba5 first move a mate?

why 1. Ba5 first move a mate?
lolsh*t in the game i played the dark bishop was not there but just goes to show how easily i can get lost in pursueing complicated lines and miss the best (and simplest) move sometimes

@MatthiasVanCampen What about a Qa3#?
I'm not really sure if you're talking about my most recent puzzle, but if you do, you probably mean Qh1#
answer is very easy, Qh1+ isn't mate cause the king can go to e2, but Qf1# obviously also hinders e2...

dv2890 problem #1215
Sorry to say it, but as I already suspicions of, the puzzle isn't really good...
You have 3 possible Mate in 5 continuations:
- Qb8+
- Qc8
- Kd5
But alas your solution isn't within it and asks for errors on the account of white...

Sorry, yeah, that's what I meant, and thanks.
