Disappointing Puzzle Format Change

I really dislike the new puzzle system. It feels rather thoughtless to make such an extreme switch without considering the users who’ve spent years building their puzzle ratings. Most people knew those ratings were inflated compared to over-the-board ratings, but they still reflected hard work and steady progress. This change feels like a typical IT decision made without understanding how people actually use and enjoy the feature. I’ve now set my puzzles to Extra Hard, yet I’m still getting dull 1500-level positions. I don’t care whether I solve them or not—I just want to work on serious puzzles and know roughly what range I’m training in. Please create a true training mode where players can choose the puzzle rating range they want—say, 1800–2000 or 2000–2500—so we can train with purpose and know what we’re working on.

The site also rerated all the puzzles and you appear to be getting puzzles around your rating range and scoring close to 50%. That's expected for the Extra Hard setting.

You can train any rating ranges you want in unrated Custom Puzzle mode.
