VERY nice... Really ANY move by the R or Q results in #! Tried a few manual moves to see if anything else came up, and... Either 2. Nc5# or Nd6# - seems always mate in TWO! Lovely, tactical solution, my friend! happy.png

IMO, I prefer to try manually, either on screen or on a board first... THEN, when I am 95+% certain, check against an analysis.

And, I find your solution an elegant and crafty one! In both of our solutions, the King stays put.
