I usually look for Q sacrifice first,but blacks inability to move anything without blocking or uncovering its defense is cool and would have taken me a while to see them all....I like the way you have the complete puzzle explained,but on the other hand I see what Arisktotle was saying was wrong about that,..I make a quick Q sacrifice guess and I did not really work the puzzle out.
I think the display of Geometrists puzzle solution looks quite good. The problem is that the solver only needs to solve one (pretty easy) variation which makes you wonder if it is worth asking for a second move at all! With just the key move to solve, it's still a good idea to show all the tries and variations in the solution as above.
I've seen other versions of this idea and I like the tries in this one. The key move is not spectacular as it places the queen in the precise focus of power where you expect her to be most effective.
Edit: I just realized that the puzzle interface might not even accept the display section unless you first enter a move for the defense. If so, bad luck but damned pity.
