Version 2: White plays a different move on move #6 to eventually win the Black Queen with a tactic rather than Black giving up the Queen to prevent a mating threat.

I started out making puzzles with 3-move checkmates. But, most of those puzzles were easy to solve because they didn't rely on tactics to solve. So, I began making longer puzzles that included some tactics to solve. For example, the previous Queen Capture puzzle #1097 depends on a Rook sacrifice to deflect the opponent Queen to a square that can be forked with its King. Don't start with such advanced concepts. Just start with some simple checkmates.
