Very nice. I certainly didn't get this one on the first try!
simplify and promote
But is it also this easy after 1.Qc1 exf4?
i thought if i kill those rooks somehow then i could promote the pawn easily one variation can be as follows
An excellent challenge and lesson in simplification! I am new to chess.com and I will have to learn how to create such puzzles/challenges as I enjoy creating and solving them.
clearly, in any condition white has a win(avoiding horrible blunders!)
No, because of Diet_Coke's comment. In your line (with Qc1 Rxc5 Qxc5), black has a draw.

how is it a draw ,please show me diagramaticallybetter idea: when rooks takes pawn then you check king with knight move and push pawn after removing your queen from the line of fire.and anyways why does black take the pawn?

hi Robert,if you are talking about the game which scarblac posted then the reason is simple ,if black doesn't take the pawn then white will and then white will easily promote it to queen even if black kills the knight (see the game posted above by me)
