The hardest tactic
Hi this tactic is found on the chess website and it is HARD, if you can figure this out you are a genius.
Plus tell me what you think this should be rated!
Re3+ won't mate in 2 (now 1 after the move), as it is followed by Be4+, then Rxe4+ and Rxe4. Not sure what duh is?
You can get the solution bu clicking on the small chess board to the left under the puzzle. When you do that a smaller chess board appears at the upper right of the puzzle. Click on that second board and the analysis screen opens. This will show you the best moves and the results of each move.
This ins't too difficult. e4 is obviously an interception point for black's rook, bishop, knight and king. With some experience in problem chess you would start looking to move a piece there.
In a real good problem you would have a different mate for all black's answers, which isn't the case here...
You even have 2 different mating moves after rxe4, this needs imrpovement!
Oh... Found it.
Be4, followed by Qxe7#
if Nxe4, then Bf4#
If e6, then Qf4
no because Be4# and you have to move your king
First of all, learn the notation. It is Nxd4, and it is not like Balco King has two squares to go to.
Black King*, sorry I am on my android
i spent 10 minutes on google trying tofind out what a balco king was, pondering what the king of the Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative had to do with this position...

Well, the D and E are right on top of each other and my auto-correct is off. And like I said I just looked at it for a few seconds...after looking at it again it's obvious the only move that works is a quiet one.
1. Be4
If they don't resign after that, they should've.
