Black has a lot of forced mates, but only one is mate in 2. Can you fid it?

I have already posted this in other forum, but i'll just post it here

Hope you like them!

Amazing and unique.

The core of these puzzles is good but there are some glitches which make me suspect that you just modified existing puzzles by other authors. As I mentioned before the position of the last puzzle is illegal - meaning it could not have possibly arisen in a legal chess game which is required by FIDE law. The black queen on a8 in the first puzzle is weird. The mate in 11 works with or without it. Economy prescribes that you don't add unnecessary material to your creation. Exceptions are positions taken and presented from real games but that is clearly not the case here. The second puzzle is more or less OK except for the useless black pawns on g6 and g7.

I mean, puzzles don't usually make sense. How do you want them to make logic.

Arisktotle

Puzzles never make sense when you look at them as games. For instance, why would you have to mate in 2 moves when you can do it in 3 or in 5 or in 33? The point is that puzzles are not games and you need not make them look like games. On top of that, the third diagram could never happen in a game however weird you play. Therefore it is called an illegal position.

You could legalize the third one by moving the queen to a square like b7 and removing the (now unnecessary) f pawns

Yes! But the idea of the OP was to maximize the number of fingers pointing at g4 and you just surgically removed one wink There are many ways to do it though. I posted an alternative in another one of the OP's topics where he posted the same puzzle.
