Chess improves intelligence, and who has high intelligence will be good in chess. so IQ puzzles could help us to improve our calculations and imagination, and we need these things to be a good in chess.

I doubt both of those assertions.

I think the question marks should be replaced by a white queen and a black pawn

Given that you've written the two unknowns as "?" (the same symbol) and not (say) x and y (different symbols), I've concluded that they are of equal value and that value is 5.

(I don't care if I'm wrong, I'm done tryin' Laughing)

8 & 7 following 3 3 clockwise

never mind my answer. any two numbers i put in would work to add to zero with the technique i used.

if you dont like the puzzles then dont waste your time trying to solve them. personally i take great interest in them and if a professional chess tutor says they are an essential part of learning and understanding chess then i will continue to try to learn from them.

i love the puzzles :-)!! in trying to solve it i was playing around with the numbers and all the wheels if you add up what it takes to get to the next number starting at the twelve oclock position... it always adds up to zero for the entire wheel. why is that?!?! its so curious.
