Let's be honest, all the gorilla has to do is brutally beat to death one person and the rest of them run away.
Although, if the humans had preparation time, they might be able to win by just throwing them all at the gorilla at once, however I find this unlikely because there's an almost 0 chance of everyone agreeing on sentencing themself to a very likely death.

As #52 said, the element of fear comes hugely into play here. One guy gets squashed, the others realize they too have chances of being squashed, and squirm in terror, fleeing. If it's just 100 average joe's vs a silverback gorilla, there also may be chances for like the gorilla to do some AoE attacks and kill like 20-30 in a few strikes if they try to like team up on him.
