Gobsmacked about crows.  Had no idea.  Makes you wonder what we've missed about other animals....

I didn't know what the hell that was, I looked it up and now I have one more word in my vocabulary.

Prairie Dogs are pretty cool too.

Update: kco is still MIA since 7/21 of this year.

shadowcat53

I like crows , about 20 to 25 show up here every morning to get their peanut butter sandwiches and dry cat food .They follow me along the river valley , probably hopeing to find my peanut butter  cache.

Wolfbird

Ravens and crows are considered smarter than the parrot. Shadowcat, watch to see if the crows start leaving you little gifts for giving them food. Smile

shadowcat53

They have , they have left a seashell and a piece of blue glass, a raven also occasionally comes. This has been going on now for more than  20 years .They will leave for the coast soon , last year about a hundred showed up at this time of year, and then  leaving with all of them except two old ones , who did make it through the winter.

i regularly feed the critters by me, and they know it. i know the squirrels would eat out of my hand if i let them, but i don't want to get all the rabies shots if they bite me. there is a bluejay that likes peanuts. i try to be careful 'cause i don't want raccoons knocking on my door for food.

here's a critter i wanted no part of last week.

I didn't know that Wolfbird, it seems like they could be smarter than some humans I know.

Pulpofeira

They have very flexible minds, unlike most birds.

This morning I had a coffee in a bar hosted by a Chinese family. While chatting with them (not easy, but I love talking with foreigners) they asked me if I was Spanish. At first I was a bit surprised, but why not? They come from a country which must be 4x this whole continent. For they all know, I could be a Romanian for example. I'm sure I couldn't spot a Japanese pretending to be a Chinese even if I knew the language, let alone people from different provinces on a country which is like a continent.

What I have learned is that the Chinese here in America can make the best tasting food you would ever want. In fact tonight we are going to have some delivered to our door.

Did you ever notice that in the movies and TV when they show actors eating Chinese they always use chopsticks, and eat it of the white a red carton it come in. It looks phony as hell.

I never eat with chopsticks plus I order enough stuff to pile several things on my plate a eat it with a fork. By the way the only thing they send in the white and red cartons anymore is white rice.

Yeah Yeah I know, the title is kind of like the Seinfeld Show theme.

You can post anything you want except for the following:

1. Politics

2. Religion

3. Spamming

4. Complete Stupidity (only regular stupidity is Okay)

By the way if any of you have some conspiracy theories you are free to fly with it.

This thread is only for a good time.

LOL!!

One of the most sucessful TV shows of USA and it is about nothing!

I see a serious criticism on Americans in general, because they loved this series ( I never watched it in spite of it had been broadcasted here in Brazil in Cable TV).
