I'm sitting waiting ... a close friend and family had a heart attack while shoveling the snow ...-21 ...wasn't found for an hour , only 35.... family being asked to take him off life support ... just got back ...a tight group...Winter, it seems always takes somebody..soo some some music .. just seems to suit my mood..

Hey kco I didn't you were losing your hearing, that's got to really suck.
If I lost my hearing that would be horrible. The only advantage I can possibly see would be that the Woman would have to yell at me on a note pad.
yeah that is suck but it would be fun with note pad, and not much fun for me as I am going blind too. I prefer to be blind than being deaf.

I'd be terrified of being blind. Had a scare once and was so depressed. How do you cope man? Is there some network or help group you can tap into?

there is .Blind Foundation here also I belong to the Manawatu Deaf Society, got friends here, that is why I came back to NZ

I cope with my white cane, and won't be totally blind til I am in my 70's.
