He fiddled with his jacket strap. He took off his hat and turned it around in his hands, waiting.
A flash of light.
“Heh. How ya been?”
“How have I been? How have I been? You’ve been of no help whatsoever! What was the point of even agreeing to this?”
“Slow down. Relax, man. Here, I’ve got something I need you to do. Take Jenny and -”
He paused. He looked at the knife jabbed against his Adam’s Apple.
“I created you! You wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for me! I give the orders around here.”
A flick of the wrist. A drop of blood on the floor.
“Hmmmmgghhhhh. Fine. Now then, where were we?”
