cosmetic surgery brings with it the problem of false perception, that the mind has on what is important. all cosmetic surgery is doing is changing the appearance but not the mental state, for those claiming body disphormia ... but it is their right to do..

What about piercings and tattoos? It goes overboard a lot 

surgery, piercings, tattoos, fall under 'freedom of expression'....

Freedom of expression allows for a good psychiatric diagnosis;)
