#13 see that’s the thing. He’s calling me arrogant because I’m a terrible person to argue with, since I couldn’t admit I’m wrong, but he never admitted anything either. So according to his logic, he’s as arrogant as I am.

Then you have to make a choice; Is apologizing (even if you feel you’re in the right) worth it to rebuild the friendship?

That’s all you, boo.

He blocked you? he insists not to contact you anymore? he thinks you're a bad friend?
Walk away. You don't need this type of friendship, don't ever apologize if you did nothing wrong.
even if that person means a lot to you, once they don't want you then you you should detach, you can always find better friends.

The question is, is admitting you're wrong, even if you aren't, worth your friendship?

Guys.. Real friendship doesn’t mean saying you’re wrong when you’re actually right. If you keep doing that, you’ll just end up in the same situation again where you have to take the blame just to keep the friendship. If you’re right, stick to it. If you’re wrong, own it, apologize, and move on.

This happened to me. It was a very weird story. Might make a forum on it later. 😈 But my advice is to talk to him without anger or anything. Cause if you get mad he will also get mad and you will just not want to be friends anymore or something. Also you can say that you still want to be friends. If he gets mad about this, he’s probably not the best friend.

There’s like, billion people in the world. I’m sure out of that , you’ll find a better best friend than him. This is the thing about best friends - it’s nice to have a “prioritised” friend that gets more attention than other friends, but when you lose them, it hurts more than losing a normal friend, so this is one of the reasons why I think having a best friend isn’t a viable option, though I do see how best friends can be an important part in somebody’s life.

He wants to ditch you? Just ditch him back. It’s not worth it if you try and mend things with somebody that doesn’t want to mend.
