And the winner is... "The Silencer"

Hi everybody,

This weekend was the 1st Annual Detroit/Windsor International Film Festival, and my team took FIRST PLACE in the 48 Hour Film Challenge!  We also won "Best Use of Character," which was me.  I was the title character.  It's like saying, "Best Use of Me."  How cool is that?!!    These guys made me look so much cooler than I am in real life. 

Each team (there were 22) was given their assignments last Friday night at 7:00pm.  They were given a genre, a character, a prop, a line of dialogue, a location, and 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and turn in a short film (4-8 minutes).  15 groups made the 7:00pm Sunday deadline.  The screening was today and WE WON!!!

It needs a little tweaking before the final DVD release.    I'm sure it will get circulated on the web via YouTube, AtomFilms, etc.  I'll let you know exactly when and where.

I'm just REALLY excited right now!!
