Are you working on a creative project? (or want to?)

Like making a game, or writing a book, or learning coding, or making art of any kind, or learning 3d designing, or animation, or stop motion, or anything that has a large learning curve?
If yes then I got a few tips.
1. Just start. The first draft will not be the best, but you learn as you go. Honestly, just put on a tutorial to understand the fundamentals, and I'd recommend starting your own small project as your 2nd or 3rd project. The "small" project can vary, for a book - it could be a chapter, for a game - a small simple minigame, etc.
2. Don't fall into tutorial hell. You will be getting recommended a lot of tutorials after watching the first one and might be scared of missing out, but if you fall into tutorial hell, you will lose a lot of confidence and motivation, and give up or never start. Just add the tutorials you think are important in a playlist and move on, so that if you need it, you can come right back to it.
3. Frustration is normal. This is something I struggled with. Sometimes something just doesn't work and it can be frustrating and you might want to give up, but the solution is closer than you think. For technical issues, all of the internet is ready to help. For creative issues, just take a break, go outside, and come back the next day to try again.
4. Know why you are doing this. Is it just a hobby you have a fun time with? Or is it a job that you want to do for the rest of your life? Or is it a hobby which you hope to convert into a job one day? This may require a bit of soul searching, but knowing your goal helps out the most. After your goal is set, you can break it down into smaller goals to stay motivated.
I know this won't get many comments or views cuz that's just what otf has become, but to the few that read this, I hope this helps.
