This is basically a place for artists to share tips, show art, and get help with art. Im an artist, ive gotten work published, awards, taken classes, and ive been drawing since 7. Anybody is welcome.
RULES:
Dont draw anything sexual, anatomy (nude figures, like The Statue of David (i think thats what its called)) are fine, as long as it isnt intendedly sexual.
Dont make anything religious that could start a debate. I am Jewish, and I love my religion, but I dont make art saying its better than others. Drawing figures (Moses, Jesus, Mohammed) is fine, as long as its respectful toward others.
Dont make anything in relation to politics or CURRENT war. Making art for example, The American Revolution, is fine. (My account is named after a colonial soldier)
Dont judge other people's art. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM (criticism, but in a kinder way, that helps improve) is fine. I was never a "good" artist, and I never will be. In my opinion, Im marginal, at best. No art is perfect, its supposed to be imperfect, thats why I live for it.
No AI art or stolen. Integrity. Im going to sound like a corny kindergarten teacher, but, integrity is important. Using art that isnt yours, even if nobody knows, is wrong. It just proves that you aren't creative.
