Bach, Beethoven, Brahms ( & Mozart ? )

It is July 7th today. Hello Mr Mahler ( back in 1860 ). 

Today was the big day for Claude Debussy, in the year 1862. 

Thanks for the nice picture Pestebalcancia ( Ah yes " Clair De Lune " ). Of course if we are going to mention " Clair De Lune " we must also list " Reverie " and many other beautiful pieces as well ( was he the equal of Chopin ? ).

Today is September 8th and therefore we should mention Antonin Dvorak ( from the year 1841 ).

The only decent classical music was that composed By RICHARD WAGNER.

Aha ! You seem to be a punny person Kaynight   lol.

   ---   Yes Wagner was great, but there do seem to be a couple of others at the top level as well   lol.

Actually it was the actor ROBERT Wagner(not Richard) who featured in Hart to Hart.I suppose (to quote Shakespeare in his play Romeo and Juliet)-"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"

Judging by the film Amadeus, I would agree that Mozart could be indecent at times.

Thanks for the post Ivandh. Yes I think that he could be a handful. Mind you he had an odd childhood what with all of the traveling and also performing from a very young age, not an easy path to follow.

Well it is the evening of Sept 24th here but much of the globe has already switched over to Sept 25th, therefore we can now mention Shostakovich ( born this day in 1906 ).   

Before I forget I should mention Giuseppe Verdi ( Oct 10th of 1813 ).

It is October 22cnd today, let us not forget Franz Liszt ( from 1811 ).
