Bad Omen?

I'm going ice skating later with some friends. sounds fun, right? no. earlier today, I fell on a patch of ice and scratched my thumb up REALLY BAD. is that an omen that I'm gonna get injured during ice skating, is it something in the place of getting injured, or is it a mere coincidence?
Do what I do and hug the wall the entire time. Not because you can't skate, but because you're trying not to get hurt...

as for my advice, don’t let yourself convince yourself that it is a bad omen. you don’t have full control over your mind, but your mind has full control over your body. If you convince yourself something bad is going to happen, rather than actually making sure something bad doesn’t happen, it’s more likely for something bad to happen.
