Y'know, Put-in-Bay, Ohio is one of the few places in the world with black squirrels. These things are pretty cool to see!
There's pretty common around here (Chicago). Perhaps about 2% of squirrels. They aren't a different species, just a genetic variant of normal gray squirrels.
