Bible is ****
You first asserted that if the universe were meaningless, we would never come to realise it is meaningless. Then you gave a completely unrelated example to justify your assertion
I noticed #160 on my way out of the forums. I have never claimed that you can prove things using logic, nor does it have any relevance to the topic at hand. For the sake of argument, mathematically, logic can prove things.
I thinked and It doesn't make sense . I would be grateful if you could illustrate how they are related.
Correct, To label the universe meaningless we need to understand meaning, which we shouldn't be able to do in a meaningless universe.
But, by meaningless universe we mean the universe as a whole doesn't have a purpose, we don't mean that a concept like "meaning" can't exist in the universe.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
