I just palyed a game with a nasty player from Turkey...His username is (remove -- MOD)...He had less than a minute to play and I was up a rook and had a great position...He somehow caused a disconnection on my computer, and I lost on time...This has happened before....He said f me many times when palying....How do you report this unfair tactic, no room for cheaters on chess.com...please help, this shpuld not be tolerated.
It's tough when you lose in a winning position, but no one could have caused your computer to disconnect unless they had control of your computer.
That seems unlikely, even in today's environment, where hackers can get access to the government employment records and company credit cards files. I hope you keep your antivirus and firewall products up to date.
But even if they had such control, don't you think they would use for bigger things than winning chess games? And if your opponent had such a thing, don't you think his rating would be higher than 1268?
If you want to report him for his nasty language, that is one thing you can do. Use the contact form. Not enough people actually file those reports. When they do, staff is good about muting such people so that they can't bother others.
