I don't think it did, I still haven't found someone to play chess with in real life.
Geez. Never thought chess would actually be THIS POPULAR! When chess.com hosted the PogChamps, literally, chess became famous. In one of the twitch streams, the channel Chess (chess.com) reached 60 K viewers!
What I don't get is that how it wasn't very popular back then, and now look at it now!
