I reported him because he was abusing people in one of the most pointless ways possible.

Even that isn't the best solution if you happen to have a pet that fancies chewing stuff, especially cables.
But generally speaking, you're absolutely correct. 
And maybe you could try to be less heartless and have more empathy for your fellow human beings especially when they are ill.

When they were abusing someone on the forums. Then you say have empathy.
Listen, I've always learned empathy is knowing what the person feels like, sympathy is just feeling sorry for them.
I find it quite rude that you think I know what it is like to abuse others on the forums, and ridiculous that you are defending llama. We both know if it were someone else, someone you didn't know, we would both hit report, or at least you wouldn't have defended them.
I don't know whether llama's ill, and I guess that's not something for me to speculate about. Maybe he just enjoys getting plastered every now and then, idk. I do worry about his liver and brain cells, although I guess that's his responsibility, ultimately.

I do feel bad for llama. I have had some chats with him, and he seems like a good person. But he does have an alcohol problem, and or some type of problem.
Its the internet. 90+% of what is posted is about image...no matter how bad of a dumpster fire someones life is. Its the online version of "keeping up with the Jones's".
Nobody is forced to read or interact with the forums.
