True
Chess.com is deteriorating

...All I see are stupid forum drama, and brainless forums that are copy-pastes from another brainless forum and somehow get so many people to comment there. At least there are people who use this site to play chess, unlike me who just sits in the forums to collect dust on my...rating...I'm sure many have noticed the idiocy that goes in the off-topic forums.
If you want things to change, then usually we must begin with ourselves. I'd like to believe my forum threads are quality and my "serious" forum topics are helpful to others or answering for me. If you want better quality responses in your forum threads, then take some time to make your post quality and look fairly professional. If it looks like you put time and thought into it, then others will sense this and typically give you a solid post back. If your threads look half put together or full of spelling errors, then it only invites trolls to critique.
As for threads you observe that you did not create, just find the better quality threads. I assure you they are out there. The forums can be a wonderful resource to get questions answered (especially chess specific questions with so many high-rated players who lurk the forums, yet seldom post unless they see a quality thread worth their effort of posting in).
chess.com isn't deteriorating in the least. If you want the chess community to be even better, then begin with yourself like I have done. Want quality posts? Create quality posts? Want helpful responses? Post helpful responses in other forum threads.
The chess community is our community too, so it is our responsibility as well

I would just play chess here but just look at my rating
I am possibly the worst player in the world
No, there are literal 100 rated players; you aren't the worst out there.

True, True.
Then, in that case, I believe it's STARTING to deteriorate.

Only once tho

I should be part of that 40%
I really don't know if this belongs in the off-topic category but I really don't give a damn anymore. All I see are stupid forum drama, and brainless forums that are copy-pastes from another brainless forum and somehow get so many people to comment there. At least there are people who use this site to play chess, unlike me who just sits in the forums to collect dust on my god-awful chess rating. I really don't know what to say or how to describe this, but I'm sure many have noticed the idiocy that goes in the off-topic forums.
