I just went to watch Hikaru and then people on his stream were talking about him but idk what happened

Nothing is confirmed yet as far as I see, but it looks like something very bad has happened. I hope he is fortunate and survives to live another day like Fabrice Muamba, and has not suffered the same fate as Marc-Vivien Foé 🙏
He collapsed near end of the first half of DEN-FIN, got CPR in the field for several minutes, has been transferred to a hospital and his condition has been said to be stable. So luckily he seems to survive. But still waiting for further news.
yea he just collapsed now he’s in stable condition at the hopital. anyways I only saw that on news

That was the most likely scenario. It's almost certain that his illness is related to the so-called Naxos disease, a not-so-rare case of cardiomyopathy. Still it's a bit strange, as this disease is regularly detected when one has an ultrasound test.

What happened? I went up to get something from downstairs, and I came back upstairs to see Eriksen on a stretcher.
