Things get worse, but people keep quoting “What does not kill us makes us stronger” along with various Russian novel and Skibidi Sigma Stoicism tropes about suffering being enlightening or something. It’s insufferable to listen to, and they seem to take grotesque pride in how miserable things have become. As a result, nobody even tries to improve the state of things.

I wish for daylight savings time to be illegal. No setting clocks ahead or behind. Time is time. Deal with it.
