so abt the same as me talking about losing socks ? ![]()
Does True Randomness Actually Exist? ( ^&*#^%$&#% )
I think you lost your socks a long time ago Lola lol.. But black polish, whatever happened to the red stuff?
I do coffee pretty much every day. After the beans to cup coffee machine broke about nine months ago we got a new one but I haven't used it yet. Every day I blend some different beans, grind them by hand with a nineteenth century grinder and make coffee in a jug. Very strong served with lots of hot milk. After a pint of it I'm ready to make a move against KingAxelson.
I use a manual grinder (although just to turn coarse ground coffee to fine ground for my espresso machine) and it takes a similar length of time to the espresso machine heating up. Cappuccino is my habit.
Yes I quite like that too. At an hotel or restaurant I'm most likely to order a flat white or a cappuccino.
You could buy beans, because the taste will be better. I've been comparing my own blends, usually of four different beans, with the top-shelf brands like Union beans and I produce better coffee because they slightly over-roast and use poorer coffees and commercial unground beans are better than commercial ground, although the gap may not be so big if you keep it very fresh. But with a little bit of luck I can produce coffee identical to Jamaica Blue Mountain, at a tenth of the price.
I buy my coffee from Farrers in Kendal (the shop, not the warehouse on Shap road, which is a different business) and Pumphreys in Newcastle. But probably the best coffee I've bought is from Taunton at a shop called Mr Miles.
I've never had a cup of espresso in my lifetime. (Just give me a mug of hot black coffee, leaded.) I do recall the fist time I delt with it though. At one point growing up we had a room for rent. We leased it out to a professional writer, and he would stay up all night banging away on his typewriter drinking espresso.
No, don't think so. he just seems to like making soap. It's nicer than what you can buy in shops. Nicely scented and sort of streaky with purple streaks like a blackberry sundae.
izzit possible TR once existed and now doesnt ?...iows, all the forms are now known ?...only cuz life seems to go where there arent any forms, right ?
imean how much more determined izza ant compared to a homey sapien ? (lol !)
or izzit the other way around ? iows, are forms inversely proportional to determinism ? does freewill expand with assumed/apparent (since we cant be ants) hierarchy ?
What are the major tenet's of randomness? I would say that 'promptings' are one of them. And if those origins are orchestrated, then the trail might as well be as long as pi..
I am not willing to put 'randomness' in the same category as the elementals.
A 'tenet' makes up the structure of randomness. (IMO) Albeit not on it's own, there are others..

Randomness is unpredictability. You could also think of it as "unknowability", but in the real world the only way to compare what you believe to reality is some (future) observation. It is limited to the future because if an observation had already taken place, it would already have a result, thus would be known. Unknowability of something in the future is just another way of saying unpredictability.
It's all I've got this time of day. I refuse to think coherently until after my coffee ritual.
