I shouldn't, you're right.
Earth is flat. Prove me wrong.

A cube supports the flat earth adherence. It Is Flat on six sides making for a 7 dimensional world. Don't forget space.

If you go outside and shine a torch straight ahead, the roundness of the earth and gravity and stuff should mean the same light hits you in the back fractions of a second later. I just tried it and nothing. Eat that roundies!
RG1951 The physicists tell us that light has mass, though very little. The pathetically feeble light from a torch would have nowhere near enough mass to be held by earth's gravitational pull or enough power to circle the globe and return to the same point (a trip of some 25,000 miles).
Davidpeters2: Aha! My torch is 1 million candle power though. If the earth is 25000 miles round that is one candle every 40 meters roughly, easily visible (think of Chinese lanterns). Also as my torch is candle powered the extra weight of the wax probably explains the gravity thing you mentioned.

A_G_A, I am yet to see proof that the Earth is flat. Then we can talk proof of rotundity.
Circumnavigation of Antarctica?
The number plane routes within the southern hemisphere that go into the northern hemisphere?
Why clouds travel in a flat plane?

Changing my vote to "Round:
Earth is a relatively flat disc: 1.5
Earth is an oblate spheroid: 1.5

If the final tally is a tie, I change my vote to flat. (I voted the 1/2). The round earth conspirators are resorting to "Ants on Beachballs" prove the earth is round! (Because they don't fall off). Anyone heard of Krazy glue?

But are you really answering such a post?!
