Many have asked if the earth is flat, what's on the other side? Roots, and plenty of them. They act like an anchor at sea. Or else the earth and sun would have collided long ago.
Earth is flat. Prove me wrong.

They filmed the lunar landings not far from here. Those pics match exactly the typical landscape. See how the all terrain vehicle is out of proportion to the rocks?

That's what I was remembering. And it's an experiment anyone with a yard stick can reproduce.
But Michael Stevens explained that the math could work out the same with a flat earth.

A_G_A, refute this: I am certain you have heard of the supersonic airliner Concorde. Many civilians who have flown aboardthis aircraft have reported that seeing the curvature of the Earth. This could be refuted by your stating that Earth is essentially a flat circle, but this was reported all across the planet, from north to south, east to west, and everywhere in between.

Looks pretty flat to me.
Besides, many cameras create a fisheye effect that I showed earlier.

A very simple explanation if I may. Images viewed abord the airliner were the latest holograms being developed by NASA. Truly amazing the newest technologies.
When you have Photoshop it can be any shape you want it.

An interesting subject. I think because NASA and their Soviet counterparts faked so much it may have led to flat earth theories. For people of weak intellect - and I don't mean the OP - it would be possible to add 2 to 2 and get 5.
I notice in the link given by the OP, the Sun and moon circle over the earth. The Sun is said to be like a spot light that doesn't illuminate all of the earth. So the Sun presumably isn't a star. So we have another unique astronomical object along with the earth.
It seems that despite the Flat Earth's Society claim that it isn't connected to religion. The thesis that the earth is flat and therefore "special" sits nicely alongside other beliefs like a particular religious prophet also being "special" in time and space.
It's possible to believe anything with recourse to secondary arguments. The ancients put forward a rather elaborate motion of the celestial bodies to maintain the "earth at the centre of the universe". (There is a sense I believe in which this is true, but I would extend the "privilige" of being at the centre of the universe to every mathematical point and not the earth exclusively)
I don't believe in the flat earth theory myself because I don't think it explains what we see in the simplest fashion.
The tragedy is not people believe in this theory but the majority of people in the world believe the "news" on the TV ! So while a few people believe in the "Flat Earth" theory, probably a majority believe the mainstream narrative on 9/11 !
he put so much effort into this thread, at this point i am not sure anymore if he is trolling or serious lol. his flag says that he is from the usa, so both options are possible.
