There will be many wtfs when the Cascadia Subduction Event occurs in the PNW. Check it out and be prepared. A 9.0 quake will devastate the region. It’s actually over due.

It is, we've all had to prepare food storage just in case it finally happens. I'm currently in Montana so if it does happen I won't know what has happened to my loved ones
We drove from home to Kalispell Montana, which is like an 10 hour drive or something plus we had to cross the border which took forever

Earthquakes are believed to be caused by movements of tectonic plates deep within the earth’s crust. Earth quakes claim about 20,000 lives each year. While seismologists are able to pinpoint the location and magnitude of an earthquake, they cannot predict when or where one will occur. During earthquakes, there are no safe places to be. The violent shaking can bring down homes and buildings; cause avalanches, and tsunamis. One could occur right where you are before you had a chance to read the next post.
