Frenchbasher is a legend now he's been banned and resurrected. He can join the ranks of pdela, RJC, kaynight and myself. Macky only got muted so I'm not sure if that counts. Better luck next time macky.

I've never known Frenchbasher to use a profile photo, though he is always welcome to use one of my potato faces if he so wishes. I said from the start that he was clever, well educated, and he is. This site is for playing games. The forums are also a kind of game, played to the tune of words, pictures, whatever, some of which we understand and some that go over our heads. It's all just a bit of fun, sometimes coupled with a dose of aggression to get the adrenalin going. At the end of the day we log off and rejoin the real world with our chosen vegetables. lol

Let’s compare two scenarios:
(1) One person uses some photos which are not her owns. Maybe to conceal her identity, maybe to see which kind of response a person with a different look will get. Maybe for some other reason.
(2) Another person starts a blog full of innuendo, accusations and insults. The whole blog is targeting another person. The member targeted is identified with chess.com username and one of her personal messages to a 3rd party is published without permission. Other members respond to the blogs and add to the insults. The innuendo and insults includes:
"Con-artist", "predator", "sock puppet", "deliberately deceive those around them" , "real bully" , "fooled a lot of vulnerable people", "build a false persona", "capable of cheating in their games" ,"fakes and the cheats" , "sleaze" and "creep"
Now, which of the two people acted most worst? Try to think about it a bit? Why do some here have such a desire to shame and attack others and never introspect? Let he who has never sinned throw the first stone.

When I opened my account I used my mobile phone and made a typo error with my username. I could only change it once to correct it. If I want to change it now I have to close it and open another.

its common online to have someone criticize you. it's happened to me, it's happened to you (well if it hasn't it will very soon).
so far, To me. it seems like this LONG thread has not been a personal harassment of the individual you are talking about. Instead, much of it has been jokes.
and I think we have been good about talking more about the title and then the people involved.
OTOH if you feel you have sufficient grounds to silence Mr chair, or this thread- why haven't you? thats something that has confused me since you said your first post.
