Fake photos on profiles

Let's call a spade a spade, shall we?

You stated, sometimes hinted, used innuendo and interference, but you have certainly used below names and insults as well as others. On this page you have public accused her of cheating and mentioned that you have reported her as a cheater. On page 12, you have indentified her by her chess.com userid as well as published a private message from her without her consent (which has been re-posted elsewhere in thread).

My question is if all these interferences and allegations are based upon any action by the named individual besides her profile pictures? And if not, why make such accusations and interferences publicly and use such language?

Innuendo, hints, names and insults are not accusations.  They are my assessment of this member's character, and as such are at best opinion.  I stand by my assertion that this person is a fake, and that they have tried by indirect means to have their exposure as a fake kept quiet.  By your own actions here both you and DarkLink182 are also complicit in this.

My suspicion of cheating was alerted when I was contacted by another member shortly after this thread was opened.  I was sent a game link which appears to show the member playing improbably perfect moves, and as per your suggestion have passed this on to chess.com support for investigation.  We should know the answer to this some time over the weekend.  

I am not questioning your motives and rationale for making your accusations. I am questioning whether you have any shred of evidence?

So you are basically saying, this woman used some pictures which resembled her and was a bit prettier than her, just like so many online, so I will now insult her, call her names and suggest that she is a bad person? Would you do same for other members which do the same or for members who use a picture of themselves when they were 10, 20 or 30 years younger? 

Is your assumption that when you encounter someone online with a photo avatar that it must be a recent picture of themselves? Do you really think you are the first to Google image her?

I hope you are aware that a "online persona" refers to the totality of information and posts of a online person, not just their avatar?

And if you agree with this, why this negative and accusatory tone? Why demand that she come here and face her accuser? Should we generally blame avictim and want the victim to explain herself? 

Yes, I use the word "victim" her as we are not calling you names, second guessing your motives or implying that you cheat or is not an decent person... call things you have done against her in this blog.

I think we all be better of if we assume that when we deal with a person online that they may not be using their real photo (or a recent one). If you want to get to know someone on that level, try to ask for Facebook, work email and phone number. If you wish not to get to that level, enjoy their posts and PMs, play some chess and have fun?

Fine, then if you really cannot see what the problem is, please contact Ms Eke De Haan and explain to her why her image is being used fraudulently.  Let us know what her response is.

Yes, rushing to the support of a proven fake, and now trying to portray her (if indeed it is a "her") as the victim in all this.  And when everything else fails, try a bit of intimidation.  A real bunch of charmers.
