I've been a part of chess-playing fantasy football leagues in the past. They've been great fun. And no, I wasn't being humorous, well, at least not intentionally.

Did the league start yet? I'm looking for one to join.
Most leagues have already started. To the best of my knowledge, there is no chess.com fantasy football league, but some of us joined other leagues with chess players involved.
Hi all! I've started a FREE fantasy football league on ESPN. We still need a few more people to join.
Due to the late hour, we will have an AUTOMATED draft on Wednesday. (We just don't have time for a live draft this late. Next year though...)

I'll be sending out invites for the new FFL season on ESPN in the next week, and setting up a live draft this season before the start of the season.
I generally like to wait til the weekend before the first game so that everyone will have as much info as possible. There are always last minute injuries and bans on players that may ruin someone's season.
This season, the draft will occur on Saturday September 5, or Sunday September 6th.
