Fighting chess addiction

So, my story is pretty simple but nevertheless sad

Ever since my youngest age, I was in love with chess. But my biggest passion became my biggest flow. I started to play chess and put some ridiculous bets on my win. I started to bet my phone, then home PC, then other home stuff, and ended up putting in real money. My passion cost me my work and my family. I'm now in big debt to some of the lenders, with no stable income, and live in a small apartment at the edge of the town.  The only organization that is still willing to work with me is monezap.com. They offer loans for people with bad credit score

Over the past half-year, thanks to the pandemic I managed to get a hold of myself, stopped playing, and found a new job, it's only a paid internship but better than nothing.

I'm telling this story not for pity but as a warning to fellows out there who could be on a verge of falling down the debt pit that I am now trying to get out of.
