Remember when having a brain in a jar was just science fiction?  The scientist who is responsible is named Anand.  Coincidence or conspiracy?

So they grew a "brain" the size of a sesame seed which can't function:

“We don’t have any sensory stimuli entering the brain. This brain is not thinking in any way.”  - Rene Anand

It's about the size of a pencil eraser which they claim cannot function.  What good would a nonfunctioning brain do them?  Of course it can function on some level.  People used to believe catatonics where incapable of knowing what was going on around them and were unthinking but this is not always the case in reality.

It's probably not a brain

I predict a bright future as a reality star for this brain.

Maybe it can run in the United States' presidential primaries.
