Interesting, this: In 1940, Churchill wanted a union between Britain and France. The french turned the offer down, though.
very few people know that fact, may/june 1940 Sir winston did'nt realize the biggest disaster in men's militar history 'campagne de France".
1. it coud have been the way for UK to bring back home Aquitaine, Normandy etc ... their obsession since Alienor.
2. it could have been for France the way to continue a war already lost, which means millions of deaths, french, to avoid british to do the job.
3. it could reinforce UK without giving UK the way to win war alone, and dissuading USA to help them.
It would have been the biggest mistake in Europ history, after Merkel's decision to invite 1 mio. Muslims to stay in Germany.
The point with democracies is "they start war too late and finish war too early" (Churchill).
1944 Patton is stopped on his way to Moskew

Show is just out of game, after about aeternal France. Two snipers acting like soudards, drunken velociraptors, a Narrenshiff and a bunch of terrorists like posters came and gave a picture of France you would'nt not even see on TV after a shoot of cold turkey.

oops! I didn't see lotta people changed their flag to french flag! thank you, I mean it !
Europ WAS a good experience of what we must NOT do again : we need borders, safe and known and respected, we need our own weapons to be respected when our US friends disagree with us, we need NO member which is just aligned on US positions only.
We must stop to say "welcome" to our enemies.
But where and what is Kiribati?
Kiribati is an island who soon will disappear, like France overwhelmed by tourists who don't pay. It is a symbol of our future, if you prefer, with a touch of british humour.
See?
