Did you reconfigure the rented server to mine Bitcoins?  I would have banned you too.  As an "influential chess authority" AND a retired California lawyer, I can tell you that there is no way you can cost-effectively involve a lawyer in a $260 matter. 

"Quantum computers"? I'm not sure whether any legal action is advisable here, but they surely don't sound like they know what they are talking about.

File a suite in small claims yourself and if you are lucky her "scouts" will see it and notify you, but good luck with that because it has to be of interest to them (sex, fight, eviction, drugs, very stupid people, etc...) and I never saw any "nerd" lawsuits on there.
