Watched the two series. It really does seem like they are both innocent. All evidence seems seems to point to that way. I’ve saw nothing that would make me think they did it
I've seen both series as well and have come to the same conclusion. I can't imagine anyone finding them guilty on the evidence. Manitowoc county actually managed, in Brendans case, to take 'justice' back to the Salem witch trials. A 'confession' was all they needed from a 16 year old boy with a mental age of about 12 to implicate himself and Steven. No forensic evidence to support the confession.
America is a backward country if it uses this kind of 16th century justice. America is not the greatest country in the world and the people in it are no longer free or brave.
