Sounds mid, but ok. Back in my country, we don't recognise chess that much. Even if we do, most are low rated players in chess clubs.

"Sounds mid" means nothing to me, or anyone else.

2. Isn't Singapore of the the "Sinosphere"? Don't people play Chinese Chess everywhere, in real life?

Chinese chess is played among the elderlies. Clearly you have no clue about what you are talking about too since most of the elderlies would rather spend their time in front of a TV.

Ik. But most of the people there aren't good. Sometimes, there is a chance to play against a titled player, but it's rare. So no point.

Why don't you teach chess in Singapore if so few are at your level?

Oh Good Lord, we are doomed.

Because it's boring and it's not even a good source of income. You get so little just by coaching.

And I'm a good player above everybody. I'm only 2000 in blitz. I obviously don't have the experience of teaching properly. So that's another reason why I'm not coaching.

I prefer thinking fast and not wasting my time on rapid. I could push my rapid to 1800, but it would take almost a whole day if I play only chess.
