Returning to this site after a year, I don't see the OG users. I did see Emu, but where is Pushwood?   And all the OG users. Are you still here?   

Pushwood ran into a mute again IIRC. After he was unmuted he said so long and thanks for all the fish. Said he wouldn't be back. This was maybe a year ago. It's been a while.

I never saw him post anything controversial, but he'd been muted multiple times over the years. I always suspected maybe he was arguing with mods via private message or something, because all his forum posts seemed friendly.

Damn...that's sad. They did wrong to my man Pushwood. He was making this place a lot fun. I guess it happened the same time frame after I left. Sigh. I hope he changes his mind and returns. I guess he is too good for this place.  

But people like @Elroch, @Smyslovfan, @Alczervik, @Ziryab are still around.

I'm sure there are others, but their names don't come to mind (or they're only active in groups now, not the forums).

   ---   Yes it is sad that he has left us, he has a interesting sense of humor. As I said elsewhere it might have been a conflict with someone on the staff or perhaps just jealousy because he has a title ( Jealousy is a very ugly emotion ).

I don't think his title had anything to do with it... but I guess his departure and constant mutes are a mystery to me, so I don't know one way or another.

I think it has to do with an automute feature (perhaps in live chess?). The kind of thing that cannot distinguish actual rudeness from the "harsh yet funny" guy. Although the same could sometimes be said about moderators...

By the way, excuse my curiosity, but who were you, Ms. Hopkins?

Well, I should have made the question in a separate comment. I already knew that, I was asking the OP about his (her?) identity.

Pushwood is at **chess trolling the forums over there.

Finally,  found him. Sent him a PM. =D 

   ---   I'm still of the opinion that there was some envy involved because GOP had a title and very few people ever reach that level. Mind you I could be wrong but the fact remains that something very odd was going on.
